Rawlings Design, Inc. was formed in 2000 and offers Architectural services for commercial and residential projects. The company began as a part time business providing Architectural solutions for home renovations in the inner city areas of Atlanta and Decatur, Georgia. Today, Rawlings Design, Inc. still caters to the smallest home renovation, but offers design services for all project types as well.

Eric Rawlings is the sole proprietor of the company and has a wide range of experience with various project types, styles, sizes, and construction methods. While attending Architecture School at the University of Kentucky, Eric worked

in the College of Architecture Design Workshop which gave students access to industrial grade wood and metal working equipment. During the summers he built room additions and decks for local homes. Eric spent a semester studying under Leonardo Ricci in Venice, Italy in 1993.

While working for other Architecture firms, some of the project experience Eric acquired includes: Food Service, Retail, Medical, Parks & Recreation, Museum, Educational, Religious, and Residential. Because of the high quantity of small projects designed over the decades, Eric has a very broad range of experiences from Historic Preservation to Modernism with an emphasis on sustainable or “green” design.
